  Introducing a new functionality that aims to simplify the process of porting your US PSTN numbers to ZIRO. Porting phone numbers can be tedious, especially when validating and staging the numbers that need to be ported.
  
  

  The number porting process is complex and often involves multiple exchanges with carriers to ensure that the numbers in each port order meet specific requirements. These requirements include having the same losing carrier and port type, being authorized to port by the same person, and more. Due to these requirements, the process requires many back-and-forths with the carriers, which always cause delays and frustration.
  
  

  We have simplified the porting process for ZPM administrators by introducing new functionality in ZPM that enables quick analysis, staging and breakdown of batches of numbers into smaller and valid port orders.

  Microsoft introduced support for Application-based Authentication Using PowerShell in February.  Up until this release, ZPM has used basic authentication for PowerShell.  ZIRO advises that you make the necessary modifications to move towards modern application-based authentication as per Microsoft's current recommendation.  Please see this easy to follow guide and skip to the "Assign Teams Administrator Role to the App" section.

  In this release we have introduced the ability to assign granular role permissions to users in order to distinguish between Helpdesk and Administrator users.  This is a breaking change for clients who have already deployed ZPM and are upgrading to version 8.  Users requiring access to ZPM will need to have their specific role assigned by a ZPM administrator before they will be able to access the tool.
