Adding ZPC as a CDR Billing Server

The device utilization report requires CDR forwarding to ZPC to be setup. Follow the steps outlined below to setup ZIRO Platform as a CDR billing server in your CUCM.

Requirements

  • Administrator credentials to CUCM

  • Account credentials for your stack8-console s8cdr account

Tips

The default password for the s8cdr account is “$tacK8” (without quotation marks). We recommend changing the password by connecting to the stack8-console via SSH with your s8admin account before enabling this feature.

Steps

  1. Login as an administrator to the Cisco Unified CM Administration portal.

  2. Navigate to System > Service Paramater and select a CUCM server.

  3. Select the Cisco CallManager service.

     

  4. Locate the CDR Enabled Flag under System and set to True. This has to be done for all the nodes in the server, then save your changes.



  5. Navigate to System > Enterprise Parameters and choose a unique cluster name. Save your changes.

     

  6. Navigate to Cisco Unified Serviceability and click Go



  7. Navigate to Tools > CDR Management

     

  8. Click the Add New button and fill the form, then click Add

     

    1. Host Name: <your ZPC server>

    2. User Name: s8cdr

    3. Password: $tacK8

    4. Directory Path: /sftp/



       

  9. Repeat steps 1 through 8 for each of the clusters for which you’d like CDR’s forwarded to ZIRO Platform.
